Thank you, Pat. I'll be starting in RCIA this fall and am attending masses as often as I can. Palm Sunday yesterday was very special. I'm trying to learn as much as I can. It's a quest of almost 35 years when I first became ill with schizophrenia and searched for meaning in Christianity as well as my meds and therapists. It has all come to a wonderful conclusion in this my 67th year. But the end of something is the start of something new. I look for "God with skin" in my sisters and brothers, in nature and the heavens. Follow a star and God will steer.
I am a Catholic wife and mother of 3 young adults. I write about Catholic subject matter here and on numerous Catholic websites elsewhere. I love sharing my enthusiasm for the riches of our faith in person in parishes, at conferences, or on retreat.
I have a Masters in Theology but I remain forever a student at heart, for the more I know, the more I realize I have so much more to know!
Come follow my writing and speaking journey and my Among Women podcast both here and at PatGohn.com.
