Hey there art history fans: some of the earliest Christian artists created more than graffiti on walls... they were decorating the catacombs! Here are some of the oldest images found recently of
St. Peter, and
St. Paul. These were found in the catacombs of St. Thecla in Rome, by the careful and painstaking work of the
Pontifical Commission of Sacred Archaelogy. (Betcha' didn't know we even had one of those!)
